The 2019 edition of “Natale a Sarzana” will be an explosion of events, lights, colors and atmosphere.
The streets and squares of our city will light up with colors, music and cultural proposals that will make the historic center “warm” and welcoming, cheered by the joyful voices of children fascinated by the magic of waders, fire eaters and goblins.
The Christmas festivities will enrich Sarzana with exhibitions, artistic nativity scenes, thanks to the close collaboration with the Diocese of La Spezia-Sarzana and Brugnato.
The streets of the historic center will be alive and rich in music and events with the Teatro degli Impavidi which is confirmed, once again after the recent opening and subsequent relaunch, propelling center of the cultural life of the territory.
It begins on Saturday 30 November, the feast of Saint Andrew, the patron saint of Sarzana, with the lighting of the illuminations: 7500 linear meters of lights that will light up the urban fabric of the historic center with magic.
The rich Christmas calendar pays particular attention to children and families:
in fact many are the activities and the spaces of entertainment in distinct areas of the territory designed for children and young people, such as the Christmas Village with the ice rink in Piazza Matteotti and the children’s area in the Porta Romana gardens.
There are also many proposals for the great ones starting from the food and wine ones of the Piedmontese regional market, to those for antique lovers with a dedicated market and La Soffitta in the Christmas edition street, up to the Via Francigena market.
